Last week, the IEA, spending the tax revenue of hard-working citizens in dozens of countries, forecast that “global demand for fossil fuels could begin peaking within this decade.”
IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol, believed by some ignoramuses to be “among the world’s foremost energy economists,” averred that “a historic and definitive turning point towards a cleaner, more affordable and more secure energy system” is underway.
Funny. Two days earlier, a “green” news site revealed that a German wind farm was “being dismantled” to expand a coal mine.
