Can’t get enough of the bizarre mind of D. Dowd Muska? I recently appeared on the podcast of my pal Michael Schaus, a Las Vegas-based “artist, writer and generally free-thinking guy.”
We discussed some Really Big Stuff — specifically, cultural decline in all its ugly manifestations, and whether a plausible case can be made for optimism about the nation’s future.
Finally got the opportunity to listen to the podcast with Michael Schaus and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have one friend that I meet with monthly, and we have these same types of philosophical conversations.
I believe gratitude is very important to one's well-being. Gratitude promotes contentment and happiness. Another lesson I learned in my early 20's (I'm in my early 70's now), is that I determine how I react to people and events. No one else can make me feel a certain way.
